Meet our Founders
Nathan Ehrenholz brings over 15 years of experience across subsea robotics, ocean technology, and complex offshore operations. His career has spanned everything from AUV and sensor development to large-scale research campaigns and hands-on project leadership around the world. What defines his work, however, is not just technical depth, it’s the moments when he can teach, mentor, and help others grow. Those are the cinch moments that shaped his path and continue to guide his role at NOW Subsea.
Nathan’s philosophy is built on three principles: safety, teamwork, and proper planning. In the harsh and unpredictable world of marine operations, these fundamentals are what carry a mission from concept to completion. They are the backbone of his leadership style and the culture he brings into every client engagement.
Outside of work, Nathan is an avid scuba diver. Being underwater, immersed in the quiet, complexity, and beauty of the ocean, reinforces his commitment to protecting it and advancing how we explore it. This personal connection to the sea fuels NOW Subsea’s mission and shapes the vision behind the company.
As Sir David Attenborough reminds us:

Nathan leads NOW Subsea with this belief at the forefront: technology should serve humanity, and humanity must serve the ocean.
